As we are all in level 4 lockdown, now is a time many people are looking around their homes to finish DIY renovation work, or to begin long put off jobs of essential maintenance. Others are taking the time to plan new renovations. You might be thinking that now is the time to repaint your interior, or try your hand at some plastering or basic carpentry. Maybe there is some tiling you can look at doing or landscaping to begin planning….

This is a good time to watch relevant renovation and design shows, read books on the topic and do your research into current trends and designs.

While a lot of the shows on tv are from USA, Canada or the United Kingdom , we have found one from New Zealand called “Creative Living” featuring Peter Wolfkamp.

The show follows an Auckland family as they go through a rebuild of their rotting, rusty heritage villa. You can follow them as they go room by room on this journey.
